The position is responsible for managing the bank’s balance sheet, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning.

The role is responsible for tracking key performance indicators, optimizing operational efficiency, and aligning business activities with the Bank’s long-term goals.

To assess internal control systems, safeguard the Bank’s assets, verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records, and proactively identify and prevent fraud or operational irregularities.

Manage and supervise the reconciliation team while ensuring the accuracy and timely resolution of account discrepancies in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Carry out relevant internal control checks to ensure effective discharge of the control functions across all Business and service offices including the Head office functions and Branch network in line with the Internal Control department strategy.

Monitor and coordinate the operations across the branch network through the Branch Operations teams.

To provide overall leadership/direction at the branch level and continually enhance team performance to delight customers through excellent banking hall touch point experience.

Increase customer retention and growth through an aggressive cross sell of the bank relevant financial products and thereby promote an optimum build-up of revenue.
