The Data Management Officer will support the MEAL function for the Disaster Risk Management and Climate Resilience for improved outcomes of Children and Young People in Kasese District (DRM-CR4CYP) project.

The Program Officer, ECCD is responsible for effectively planning and efficiently managing and delivering the ECCD project components of Sponsorship within the Impact Area.

The project officer provides ongoing implementation, monitoring & evaluation and reporting in regard to the execution of child protection Humanitarian response activities.

Provide safe, efficient transport for staff, goods and documents; maintain vehicles and records; and support fleet/transport tasks in line with Save the Children policies, safety standards and child-safeguarding requirements.

Responsible for establishing, leading, and embedding SCI’s global data governance framework.

Responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting SCI’s digital workplace solutions (including Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and CoreView).

Provide legal advice and support to Save the Children’s country offices (particularly in West and Central Africa) and global teams.

Strengthen Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) capacity across country offices, ensuring the generation and use of quality data and evidence to drive programme effectiveness, accountability, and continuous learning.

Support Save the Children’s internal communications plan, creating engaging content, managing internal channels, and helping to connect 25,000 staff worldwide with the organization’s mission and impact.

Provide expert advice and leadership on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant handling of cases while fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.

The job holder provides overall programmatic and operational lead and management, including planning, implementation, partnership and contract management, compliance with SC and donor regulations, human resource management and development and capacity enhancement

The Job Holder will drive Save the Children vehicles collect and deliver people, goods and documents on Save the Children business safely and efficiently to their destinations in line with Save the Children Policy and procedures.
