Job Description
The Gender and Social Inclusion Coordinator will be responsible for mainstreaming gender and inclusion principles throughout the SIDA CSO Project. This includes guiding the design, implementation, and monitoring of activities to ensure they are gender-responsive and inclusive. The role requires working closely with project teams, partners, and stakeholders to promote equality and advocate for the rights and participation of underrepresented groups. The Coordinator will also provide capacity building, technical support, and mentorship to project staff and partners, ensuring alignment with Save the Children’s gender equality and inclusion policies.
Key aspects include conducting gender analyses, developing gender action plans, monitoring inclusion indicators, and contributing to reporting and knowledge sharing to strengthen the organization’s gender mainstreaming efforts.

How to Apply
Provide technical leadership and coordination on gender equality and social inclusion within the SIDA CSO Project.
Ensure project interventions are gender-responsive and inclusive of marginalized and vulnerable groups.
Conduct gender and inclusion assessments to inform project planning and implementation.
Build the capacity of staff and partners on gender equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
Integrate gender and inclusion considerations into project monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure consistent application of Save the Children’s gender and inclusion strategies.
Document and share lessons learned and best practices in gender and social inclusion programming.
Advocate for the empowerment and participation of women, youth, and vulnerable groups in project activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in gender and social inclusion programs within NGOs or development projects.
Strong understanding of gender mainstreaming, social inclusion frameworks, and participatory approaches.
Experience in providing training, technical assistance, and capacity building.
Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to Save the Children’s mission, values, and child safeguarding principles.
