As Programme Officer, you will lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of YIGA activities in your assigned district (Moroto or Kotido).

This role supports the successful implementation of our new strategy by providing safe and efficient transport for staff and materials, as well as supporting administrative and logistical tasks.

You'll play a central role in managing partnerships, aligning with donor expectations, building the capacity of youth civil society organisations (YCSOs), and facilitating advocacy efforts.

As Programme Coordinator, you will lead the strategic delivery of the YIGA project, driving youth participation in governance, decision-making, and accountability in Karamoja.

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of robust MEL systems and processes to ensure evidence-based tracking, learning, and reporting across all project outcomes.

The Programme Coordinator will provide strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight for all activities aimed at improving youth participation in governance, accountability and decision-making processes that will lead to improved youth-responsive governance and service delivery in Uganda.

The Programme Officer will be responsible for coordinating and implementing activities of the project, focusing on building the civic competence of youth in Karamoja.

She/he will be managing finances, coordinating logistics, with cross-cultural communication skills across Restless Development Uganda Hub

Drive in safe and efficient manner to protect the vehicle and ensure longevity ▪ Conscientiously report information in the logbook and fuel logbook 

Coordinate the context and problem analysis through processing existing internal and external strategies and reports to strengthen the context and problem analysis.

Support program design, development and review of all monitoring and reporting functions, systems and tools for the project.

Programme support, this includes supporting various programmes tasks to ensure that activities are implemented smoothly, and project objectives are met.
