Job Description
The Public Relations Officer will play a vital role in maintaining and promoting a positive image of the organization. The role involves engaging with the media, developing press materials, and coordinating public events. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience working with media houses, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Communications Officer to ensure messaging consistency.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Enhance the public image of the organization through strategic media engagement
Develop and distribute press releases and promotional content
Organize press conferences, media briefings, and public events
Monitor media coverage and maintain updated media contact databases
Collaborate closely with the Communications Officer to ensure unified messaging and branding
Build and sustain relationships with journalists and media outlets

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field
Proven experience working with media houses and journalists

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
