How to Apply
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
Drive and support recruitment and selection activities ensuring compliance with recruitment process.
Support the implementation of retention strategies and initiatives.
Ensure proper onboarding process by availing of tools and templates to managers and staff.
Support staff development activities including promoting the DRC Learning Catalogue.
Proactively respond to and manage performance counselling with a focus on building manager competency and ensuring that documentation is kept.
Lead the performance management process
Define and review salary structure in partnership with the Senior Management team and coordinate annual compensation review process and compensation adjustments
Lead people well-being initiatives.
Ensure maintenance and communication of staff insurance, liaising with service provider on awareness sessions and monitoring service leave agreement.
Provide guidance on available staff welfare resources for expatriates and national staff.
Act as an impartial mediator in disciplinary procedures and ensure it is administered in an equitable and fair manner and meets all legal and labour regulations and requirements
Ensure proper application of ERP HR processes in the country.
Ensure quality and compliance of HR data and provide reports and data analytics to improve performance in the country.
Ensure staff are aware of Staff Human Resources Handbooks as necessary through training and regular guidance
To be successful in this role we expect you to have a minimum of 3 years’ working experience in Human Resources with at least 2 years in Senior human resources management role in an INGO. Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge/experience of Human Resources Management principles, concepts & processes
Extensive knowledge on local labour law
Excellent skills in handling and advising on complex people management issues
Experience in developing Human Resources strategies and policies, and driving implementation
Experience using an online system for recruitments
Full professional proficiency in English
