A successful candidate will have the following:
Under the supervision of the Human Resource Manager, the Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for coordinating HR operational activities for the country program. The HR Coordinator will deputize the HRM. The role involves coordinating recruitment, collecting key stakeholder’s views to support the review of the HR policies, support in managing employee relations, providing support and guidance to managers and employees, communicating HR related updates to the team in absence of HR Manager and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and organization policies.

HR management (Other HR Aspects)
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Experience
The HR Coordinator should have a minimum of at least 6 years’ experience working in an INGO or business environment with demonstrated Human Resources Management experience and high level of responsibility and integrity.
Education/Certifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
A post Graduate Diploma is Human Resource Management is a MUST and a Master’s degree in the relevant field or any HR certification is an added advantage

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational and leadership skills with high levels of integrity.
Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, recruitment and retention strategies, employee relations and legal compliance.
Ability to present information effectively; experience providing training and staff development, good analytic skills and ability to settle disputes.
Must demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing requirements; must be able to work independently while being a strong team player;
Strong skills in collaboration with multi-cultural and diverse teams
A team builder with excellent people skills; must be culturally sensitive
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Willingness to travel regularly to field locations – flexibility in work hours to accommodate needs at hand
Demonstrated mobilization skills and proactive problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and sensitivity to gender equality, ethnic minority issues in confidential situations
Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
