Purpose of the Role
The HR Manager – Shared Services will lead the staff resourcing function and manage rewards and benefits administration for BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd. The role is instrumental in streamlining and automating HR processes in support of the bank’s digitization agenda.

How to Apply
Recruitment Oversight: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process in collaboration with departmental heads, ensuring timely hiring across all levels.
Workforce Planning: Conduct regular assessments of staffing needs and recommend appropriate manpower levels to maintain optimal workforce capacity.
Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring accurate processing of claims, policy updates, and timely communication.
Exit Management: Manage employee exits in compliance with bank policy and statutory regulations, ensuring proper documentation and closure.
Compliance & Controls: Serve as the primary contact for HR-related compliance matters, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Policy Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to employees on HR policies and relevant labor regulations to promote awareness and compliance.
Records & Document Management: Lead the secure handling and organization of employee records, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of HR data.
Vendor Management: Monitor and manage HR service providers to ensure effective delivery of services to employees.
HR Reporting & Analytics: Compile and submit accurate HR reports to support decision-making processes and act as the primary point of contact for HR data reporting.
Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop the Shared Services team in alignment with departmental goals and the overall strategy of the bank.
Required Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, or Organizational Psychology.
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a supervisory HR role, preferably within the financial services sector.
Solid understanding of labor laws and banking regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
