Job Description
Provide specialist advise and support for day-to-day work, in order to execute predefined objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs). Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting and Research: Identify potential leads through market research, networking, and analyzing industry trends.
Outreach and Communication: Initiate contact with potential clients through cold calling, emails, and other communication channels.
Qualification: Assess the suitability of leads based on predefined criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline (BANT).
Lead Nurturing: Develop relationships with leads through regular follow-ups, providing information, and addressing concerns.
Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, marketing, and other teams to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of leads, track progress through the sales pipeline, and provide regular reports on lead generation activities.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in lead generation.
Qualifications and Competencies
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective outreach and relationship-building.
Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales processes and techniques to effectively qualify and nurture leads.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify patterns to optimize lead generation strategies.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry in which the organization operates, including key players, trends, and challenges.
Persistence and Resilience: Lead generation often involves facing rejection and overcoming obstacles, so resilience and persistence are critical.
Organization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple leads simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, email automation tools, and other technologies to streamline lead generation processes.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues from different departments and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the market, customer preferences, and organizational strategies.
