To Develop and manage the successful end to end delivery and execution of Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Resources and Energy (R&E) and Commercial Property Finance (CPF) portfolios including business enablement, Compliance and Risk and operational efficiency.

The role maintains safekeeping and reconciliation of client assets across physical and electronic custody platforms, monitors settlement activities to ensure compliance with market deadlines, and minimizes operational risk.

The Implementation Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment and ongoing support of Transactional Services solutions—including channel and product support.

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal ABSA Policies and Policy Standards.

The jobholder will be responsible for business development both with new and existing customers where they are expected to grow the respective branch asset and liability book.

To drive and deliver business performance both with new customers and with existing customers where they are expected to increase “wallet share,” make appropriate introductions to the Branch Manager where clients require specialist advice and support.
