Position Title: Apprentice – Reception

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Apprentice to join our Reception team. You will be the first point of contact for all walk-in clients, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inquiries, handling complaints, and supporting front-office operations.

Client Engagement (Walk-ins)

  • Greet and assist all walk-in clients courteously and efficiently.

  • Provide timely and high-quality service, ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times when dealing with clients.

Customer Complaints Management

  • Accurately capture and document customer complaints in the bank’s complaint management system (BOC).

  • Resolve or escalate issues promptly, ensuring effective follow-up on all cases, especially those that can be addressed at the first point of contact.

Records & Mail Management

  • Receive, record, and direct hand-delivered mail to the appropriate department (Mail Centre).

  • Acknowledge and submit treasury bills into the treasury box every Wednesday.

  • Keep an accurate log of incoming and outgoing courier packages for reference and accountability.

Call Handling

  • Professionally manage all incoming calls via the bank’s main lines (2200 & 2000).

  • Handle both internal and external inquiries promptly and efficiently.

Facilities Oversight

  • Coordinate with Facilities Management to ensure the reception area, waiting areas, and meeting rooms are clean, organized, and fully functional.

  • Monitor the operation of air conditioning and lighting, ensuring they are turned off at the end of the day.
