The interns will assist in content creation, media monitoring, storytelling, and visual documentation, contributing to efforts that enhance the visibility of UNDP’s development work

The selected candidate will work closely with the Equator Initiative, National Biodiversity Initiative, and Global Forest Initiative, contributing to efforts that support local, national, and international progress toward the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Safeguards Officer will serve as the main focal person for all safeguards related activities for the GCF project and the NCER portfolio.

Lead the development of knowledge products, knowledge sharing platforms, communication, and visibility actions;

Ensures instructions and security guidance provided by the supervisor and security focal point are strictly followed by the Driver and the passengers during the journey.

Facilitate the coordination and preparation of resources for the conduct of capacity building activities, and providing technical guidance

Promoting the participation of UNDP Uganda in regional programmes and regional activities related to the HDP area as appropriate;

Facilitating dialogue and collaboration between UNDP, local partners, and communities to ensure the effective implementation of development projects.

Contribute to the development of relevant documentation on donors and potential opportunities for resource mobilization;

Perform an array of duties that support UN coordination and effective Peace and Development Team programme implementation.

To align and build synergies with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and galvanize its gender-responsive implementation and will involve as many stakeholders as possible

Ensures an environment of professionalism and teamwork at all times and sets exemplary standards of conduct for the office team;
