The job holder shall be responsible for accurate and timely preparation, processing, reconciliation and reporting on payment transactions against budget in line with compliance and risk perspectives for UGAFODE (MDI) Ltd.

Responsible for performing a wide range of customer- centred activities and services for Agent Banking and other channels that have an impact on sterling experience

Responsible for the management of the institution’s ICT risks in line with the institution’s policies and procedures and; applicable regulations.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining cyber security protocols and ensuring compliance with IT security standards, regulations, and best practices to safeguard the institution’s ICT infrastructure and data.

Responsible for enforcing compliance to all aspects of computer security in UGAFODE MDI especially in operationalizing of the Cyber Security Strategy, Policies, Standards, Procedures, Methods, best practices, architecture and systems

Responsible for supporting the Manager Procurement & Administration in the management of UGAFODE’s purchasing processes for goods/services

Responsible for proactive management of UGAFODE’s non- performing portfolio (above 90 days) to ensure optimal performance of such facilities and minimization of losses to the institution

Responsible for supporting the Financial Accountant with the supervision of transactions in the Core Banking System below UGX 2 million and rendering such professional support in the preparation of Bank of Uganda

Responsible for enabling UGAFODE attain its strategic objectives by providing the leadership in the development, review and implementation of the business growth strategy for both the assets & liabilities

Responsible for managing UGAFODE’s purchasing processes for goods/services, processing procurement requests, supplier selection, order evaluation, facilitation of approvals by the Procurement Committee, services’ evaluation and disposals.

Responsible for supporting the Head of HR in the development and attainment of HR strategy by facilitating, maintaining, updating and delivering the objectives of the Human Resources Strategy

Responsible for identification of staff talent and achieve high professional standards of all employees through development and implementation of comprehensive and cost-effective training and development solutions
