The Financial Accountant will be responsible for effective implementation of UGAFODE’s accounting policies and managing risk through: Financial reporting of a fully reconciled and well hedged balance sheet, tax planning and compliance to meet external stakeholders’ requirements.

Responsible for overseeing the credit administration function including developing & executing credit administration strategies, portfolio management, policy development & implementation, risk monitoring across various product lines.

Responsible for analyzing credit data and financial information of credit/loan applicants including individuals, groups and institutions to help make decisions on lending and credit-worthiness

Develop, review, and implement communication strategies that enhance UGAFODE’s brand, visibility, and reputation.

The Sales Officers at UGAFODE Microfinance will help us expand financial inclusion across Uganda.

The job holder shall be responsible for accurate and timely preparation, processing, reconciliation and reporting on payment transactions against budget in line with compliance and risk perspectives for UGAFODE (MDI) Ltd.

Responsible for performing a wide range of customer- centred activities and services for Agent Banking and other channels that have an impact on sterling experience

Responsible for the management of the institution’s ICT risks in line with the institution’s policies and procedures and; applicable regulations.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining cyber security protocols and ensuring compliance with IT security standards, regulations, and best practices to safeguard the institution’s ICT infrastructure and data.

Responsible for enforcing compliance to all aspects of computer security in UGAFODE MDI especially in operationalizing of the Cyber Security Strategy, Policies, Standards, Procedures, Methods, best practices, architecture and systems

Responsible for supporting the Manager Procurement & Administration in the management of UGAFODE’s purchasing processes for goods/services

Responsible for proactive management of UGAFODE’s non- performing portfolio (above 90 days) to ensure optimal performance of such facilities and minimization of losses to the institution
