The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Legal Director & Company Secretary and the Corporate Security and Brand Protection Manager in delivering the mandate, mission, and strategies for both Corporate Security and Brand Protection in Uganda and the Great Lakes Region.

As a Trade Marketing & Distribution Representative, you’ll play a key role in expanding our market presence and promoting our iconic brands across retail and wholesale channels in Uganda.

To make sure that Commercial Performance Reporting, Routines, and processes are well-understood, provide training for users on system usage, and align business processes and working practices across the division and distributorships with Diageo Way of World-Class Selling and Code of Business Conduct.

The ideal candidate will bring together commercial, consumer, and customer insights to develop impactful below-the-line (BTL) marketing strategies that work across the entire path to purchase — not just the moment of choice.

You’ll be responsible for brand positioning, campaign execution, and consumer engagement—translating brand purpose into powerful marketing plans across all touchpoints.

The position holder Is responsible for the creation of all the must-have and focus Shopper growth drivers across a brand/Category to deliver the most efficient and effective Industry leading Shopper Marketing Growth Drivers.

Developing and implementing other ESG initiatives in line with the business overall strategy and plans

The Shift Brewer oversees brew house activities including fermentation, maturation, filtration, brewing programs on shift basis

Shape and influence premium drinking culture in Uganda by building partnerships with the country’s top trend-leading accounts.

As a Market Category Specialist within Marketing (specifically BTL), you will deliver procurement outcomes for Diageo through effective business partnering and collaboration across Procurement.

Ensure the business is externally attentive to the operating environment, customer/retail and consumer/shopper needs and evolution.
