How to Apply

Market Coordination & Data Management

  • Ensure accurate, real-time data capture for depletion, outlet activity, distributor stock levels, and returnables using Diageo’s Distributor Management System (DMS).

  • Enforce 100% DMS usage by distributors for all core activities—sales, stock receipts, deliveries, activations, and stock-outs.

Contact & Coverage Management

  • Drive omni-channel engagement with outlets (physical visits, tele-sales, and digital interactions) to meet coverage and frequency targets.

  • Monitor and ensure optimal utilization and condition of all distribution tools.

  • Guarantee daily route coverage and execution by the distributor’s team (VSMs), including journey plans, route audits, loading accuracy, and outlet visit compliance.

  • Grow the outlet universe, maintain 100% effective coverage, and achieve a minimum 80% strike rate on contact points.

Distributor & Trade Management

  • Align UBL's market strategy with distributor execution plans.

  • Co-develop and monitor annual Distributor Business Plans.

  • Lead regular performance reviews with distributors (morning clinics, weekly and monthly meetings).

  • Manage and track trade assets (e.g., coolers, bulk units) across the territory with proper deployment, maintenance, and contract documentation.

  • Conduct at least 3 nocturnal trade visits weekly to assess night trade visibility and performance.

  • Achieve territory sales targets by outlet and distribution channel.

People Development & Capability Building

  • Train and support distributor sales teams (VSMs) and retail staff to meet QDVPP standards (Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Pricing, and Promotion).

  • Deliver the VSM Academy training curriculum and brand immersions for trade stakeholders.

  • Perform ad hoc VSM route accompaniments and audits to ensure effective journey plan execution.

Trade Marketing & Promotions

  • Execute promotions and trade activities across retail and stockist channels according to brand guidelines.

  • Brief distributor teams (VSMs) and outlets on-time and in full (OTIF) on all UBL campaigns and initiatives.

  • Ensure all promotional materials (POS, assets, branding) are well-placed, up-to-date, and recorded accurately in the DMS.

Compliance & General Duties

  • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with company policies.

  • Adhere to all Diageo business guidelines and ethical standards.

  • Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned by management.
