Tender Description:
The Ministry seeks to procure three new coaster buses to support the operational and training activities of institutions participating in the Uganda Skills Development in Refugee and Host Communities (USDHR) Project. The buses will facilitate transportation of students, trainees, staff, and project beneficiaries, thereby improving access to skills development programs and enhancing mobility for project-related activities. The successful bidder will be required to provide vehicles that meet the required technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Scope of Work:
The successful bidder shall be responsible for the supply, delivery, inspection, testing, and commissioning of three (3) new coaster buses for designated institutions under the USDHR Project. The scope of work shall include provision of all standard vehicle accessories, user manuals, warranties, registration documentation where applicable, and after-sales support services. The supplier shall ensure that the buses comply with the Ministry’s technical specifications, national transport regulations, and manufacturer quality standards. In addition, the contractor shall conduct pre-delivery inspections, provide basic operational orientation to designated users, and guarantee that all vehicles are delivered in roadworthy condition and ready for immediate operational use.
