Tender Description:
The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is seeking a qualified consultant or consultancy firm to design and deliver a practical, participatory training program on fundraising and resource mobilization for youth-led, disability justice–focused organizations in Uganda. The assignment includes capacity needs assessment, development of tailored training materials, delivery of interactive training sessions, and provision of follow-up mentoring and technical support to help participating organizations develop clear, realistic, and actionable fundraising plans. The consultancy will run for up to 30 days starting February 2026.
Scope of Work:
The consultant will be responsible for assessing the fundraising capacities and needs of participating youth-led, disability justice–focused organizations in Uganda, designing and developing tailored training content and materials on fundraising and resource mobilization, and delivering interactive, participatory training sessions. The assignment will also include coordinating with The Organization and Show Abilities Uganda on planning and logistics, engaging relevant resource persons where necessary, and providing individualized follow-up mentoring and technical support to supported organizations to help them develop practical and realistic fundraising action plans. The consultant will further be required to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training and produce a comprehensive report outlining outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future capacity-building support.
