Tender Description:
A Government Owned Entity in Uganda, invites expressions of interest from qualified firms to participate in the Consultancy Services for the Upgrade of National Parameters and Commodity-Specific Conversion Factors for Uganda
Scope of Work:
The consultancy assignment involves the comprehensive review, update, and enhancement of Uganda’s national parameters and commodity-specific conversion factors used in economic planning, statistical analysis, and resource estimation.
The successful consultant will be required to assess existing data sources, methodologies, and frameworks; identify gaps and inconsistencies; and develop updated, evidence-based conversion factors aligned with international standards and local economic realities.
The scope includes stakeholder consultations, field data validation where necessary, capacity building for relevant government staff, and the delivery of a final technical report detailing the updated parameters, methodologies used, and recommendations for institutionalizing regular updates.
The objective is to improve the accuracy and reliability of economic data used by policymakers, planners, and statisticians across sectors.
