The position will be based in MBALE and will report directly to COMMERCIAL MANAGER ARABICA.

Fully responsible for the coordination of coffee drying of all the batches at the drying yard.
Monitor coffee batches and ensure that the quality and output targets are met.
Give daily reports for all coffees still in the yard and the warehouse. Supervise and coordinate activities of casual workers.
Observe equipment, personnel, and work areas. Inspection at specified intervals to verify conformance to expected quality standards supported by the quality team.
Regular communication with warehouse Ibero-Kampala on which batches are dry and need to be transferred.
Regular communication with the washing station team on the availability of space for drying and what volumes can always be sent down.
Observe strict adherence to drying protocols, like separation of batches to avoid mixing of coffees.

Educated to degree level.
Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.
Accounting skills.

Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels.
Must have impeccable character and integrity.
He/She must be willing to stay near the workstation throughout the coffee processing season.
