Job Description
The drivers will be responsible for transporting sugarcane and other assigned loads, ensuring compliance with road safety and company policies. The role requires drivers to work day and night shifts, perform basic vehicle inspections, and report any faults or safety risks. Successful candidates must be skilled, disciplined, and committed to safety standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Transport sugarcane from farms to the factory safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report any vehicle faults or incidents to supervisors.
Perform other duties related to driving as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Valid Class E driver’s license.
Valid certificate in heavy goods truck driving (Rigid or HGV-Pulling Trucks) from a government-recognized institution.
At least 2 years’ experience driving heavy trucks.
Knowledge of road safety regulations.
Ability to read and write.
Age between 25 and 45 years.
Willingness to work at night.
Valid license verification letter from the Tanzania Police Force.
Strong discipline, safety consciousness, and reliability.
