Position Overview
EBC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Stores Supervisor to oversee inventory control, stock management, and materials planning across our operations. This role ensures effective governance of inventory, implements structured documentation systems, and supports the traceability of critical inputs including consumables, lubricants, and spare parts throughout the supply chain lifecycle.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Establish and maintain inventory control systems to monitor stock levels, set reorder points, and track stock movements.
Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile with system records, and address discrepancies.
Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, and farming operations teams to forecast material requirements based on usage trends, seasonal needs, and maintenance schedules.
Maintain an organized and efficient store layout, ensuring optimal access, minimal handling time, and reduced risk of damage.
Implement proper binning, labelling, and zoning systems for all materials.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all inventory transactions—received, issued, stored, and returned items.
Prepare and submit inventory health reports and flag any material-related concerns.
Oversee and authorize stock issuance in accordance with approved requisitions.
Enforce controlled access procedures for sensitive or high-value items such as lubricants and agrochemicals.
Communicate stock status, urgent material requirements, and delivery schedules with relevant departments.
Actively participate in weekly procurement planning meetings to support materials coordination.
Ensure timely availability of spare parts for both scheduled and emergency maintenance needs.
Support and optimize the use of inventory management software (e.g., INFORM or equivalent).
Monitor usage patterns and report on inefficiencies, losses, or potential misuse of inventory.

High attention to Compliance and Workplace Safety
Ability to produce and analyze Inventory and Usage Reports
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role.
