Job Description
Manage inventory in line with established standard operating procedures by maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring organized storage areas, preparing timely stock reports, and providing excellent customer service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory movement records of all items.
- Carryout daily reconciliation and update stock cards.
- Receive, verify and document daily transfers of finished goods from production.
- Inspect the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approve or reject the final products.
- Physically inspect and verify all items from suppliers against purchase orders and supplier delivery documents.
- Work with the supervisor to initiate replenishment of all stock items.
- Ensure good customer service through timely serving of customers and exercising good customer care.
- Maintain a comprehensive up to date document retrieval system for all store transactions.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are loaded as per the loading documents.
- Prepare monthly stock reports.
- Maintain clean and organised storage areas at all times.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and end of year stock taking exercise.
- Operate and control the weigh bridge.
