Job Description
We are seeking to recruit two (2) competent and experienced Declaration Officers to join our professional team.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Reviewing invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and related shipping documents.
- Accurately classifying goods using the Harmonized System (HS) Codes.
- Lodging import and export entries in the customs system.
- Processing transit documents (e.g., T1), exemptions, and bond cancellations.
- Ensuring full compliance with local customs and tax regulations.
- Liaising with customs officials, port authorities, shipping agents, and clients.
- Resolving tariff disputes, audit queries, and documentation discrepancies.
- Minimizing penalties and delays through proactive issue resolution.
