Receive and inspect stock to ensure accuracy and quality by verifying that all delivered items match with the specifications outlined in the delivery note and local purchase order (LPO) in accordance with established institutional guidelines.
Prepare and issue Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for all accepted items.
Accurately update stock cards and maintain electronic inventory records for all received items, ensuring timely and precise data entry into the inventory management system.
Issue and register items from the stores to staff in compliance with the UNCST distribution procedures and stores retrieval systems.
Carry out regular and timely store reconciliations and annual stock taking.
Maintain optimal stock levels by proactively monitoring usage trends and initiating timely replenishment of store items.
Prepare quarterly and annual store/stock reports
Carry out vendor evaluation/rating.
Prepare and submit timely accountability for resources. j. Advise management on Stores best practices.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, BBA, or B. Com specializing in either Logistics and Stores management or a similar relevant field
Flexible and Innovative
Experience: 3 years of which 2 should be of progressive experience in the same field, preferably in a Government setting.
Age: Not more than 35 years
Must be computer literate in; (MS Excel and Word)
