Job Description
Based in Kenya, the Service Technician will handle after-sales service for Bosch Industrial Boilers in East Africa. The position requires regular customer site visits, conducting maintenance work, handling existing service contracts, responding to troubleshooting requests, and supervising or commissioning new boiler installations. The role involves generating reports after site visits and maintaining close communication with Bosch experts in Germany. The ideal candidate must be technically proficient and possess strong interpersonal skills for customer engagement and service product promotion.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Provide maintenance and troubleshooting services for industrial boilers
Manage and execute existing maintenance contracts
Conduct site visits and develop strong client relationships
Respond to customer service requests and resolve technical issues
Supervise and commission newly installed boilers
Prepare detailed service reports with spare parts and upgrade recommendations
Promote and sell service products including maintenance contracts and spare parts
Maintain ongoing communication with Bosch boiler experts in Germany
Ensure high standards of boiler operation and customer satisfaction

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic & Professional:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in boiler maintenance and troubleshooting
Knowledge/Skills:
Expertise in boiler maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting
Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and promote services
Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
Willingness and ability to travel across African countries
