Job Description
The successful candidate will lead and manage the identification and interpretation of aviation regulatory changes, plan and execute audits, oversee surveillance and inspections, and ensure corrective actions for compliance. They will manage certifying staff authorizations, monitor manpower requirements, and support aircraft certificates and dispensations. They will ensure quality feedback mechanisms with technical training and maintain productivity, budgeting, and departmental reporting. The role involves supervising staff performance and deputizing for the Head of AMO Quality as necessary.

How to Apply
Lead and monitor regulatory changes and their impact on the QMS.
Plan, organize, and execute internal audits and ensure effective closure of audit findings.
Develop and implement surveillance, inspections, and spot checks.
Manage the closure of non-compliance issues identified in audits.
Oversee corrective actions and evaluate their effectiveness.
Manage certifying/support staff authorizations issuance and renewal.
Support issuance and renewal of AOC aircraft certificates.
Monitor major modifications and repairs to aircraft.
Provide feedback from maintenance findings to Technical Training.
Manage staff leave, training, competence, and office performance.
Prepare and control the AMO Quality Standards & Airworthiness budget.
Deputize for the Head of AMO Quality when required.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (CAT “A” and “C” or CAT “R” and any two CAT “X”).
At least two aircraft type approvals.
Completed Quality Management and Audit Techniques training.
Completed Safety Management Systems training.
Thorough knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations.
Experience in airline operations and Quality Management Systems.
MEDA/Airline Investigation Training.
Minimum 5 years’ aviation maintenance experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in aircraft/component inspection and audits.
Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality Department.
Strong leadership, analytical, people management, and communication skills.
Computer literacy.
