Job Description
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, the successful candidate will define and implement frontend architecture, coding standards, and performance optimization practices. The role involves working with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React), integrating RESTful APIs, and ensuring compliance with accessibility and SEO principles. The engineer will be expected to contribute to technical design discussions, provide mentorship, and stay current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain responsive, reusable, and scalable UI components and pages.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into user-friendly interfaces.
Define and enforce frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and accessibility.
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Research and adopt emerging frontend technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to planning sessions, technical design discussions, and project roadmaps.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience:
At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience, with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
Technical Skills & Competencies:
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred, also Vue or Angular).
Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
Proficiency with SSR/SSG frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js).
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, responsive design, and SEO principles.
Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
Strong debugging and browser testing skills.
