Job Description
The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling broadband and dedicated internet solutions to business clients located in fiber-ready buildings. The role involves direct client engagement, lead generation, follow-up, and closing of deals. The ideal candidate should also identify new buildings for potential fiber rollout, provide after-sales support, and submit regular reports to management. A solid understanding of internet services and a proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets are key to success in this role.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct door-to-door sales visits to offices in fiber-ready commercial buildings
Promote and sell internet solutions, including broadband and dedicated fiber connections
Identify and document new commercial buildings for future connectivity opportunities
Engage property managers and landlords to initiate fiber rollout discussions
Maintain and build a pipeline of customers by prospecting, following up on leads, and closing sales
Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations based on client requirements
Provide after-sales support and build long-term client relationships
Collect market intelligence and monitor competitor activities
Submit weekly sales activity reports and updates on potential building leads

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Academic Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in field sales, preferably in telecommunications, ICT, or related sectors
Competencies:
Strong knowledge of broadband and fiber internet services
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Resilient with a proactive "go-getter" attitude
Familiarity with the Nairobi CBD and commercial real estate is highly desirable
