Job Description
The Research Officer II will perform field data collection and computer data entry/cleaning; conduct spatial and statistical analyses; gather relevant literature; prepare research progress reports and draft manuscripts; train/supervise technicians; assist in planning specific projects; contribute to fundable research proposals and consultancy assignments; and perform other duties as assigned, in line with approved work plans and research ethics.

How to Apply
Perform field data collection, computer data entry/cleaning, analysis, and literature reviews.
Undertake designated research activities with limited supervision.
Prepare and submit draft manuscripts and technical/progress reports per work plans.
Train and supervise technicians involved in project tasks.
Assist in planning specific geoinformatics research projects.
Contribute to the development of fundable research proposals and consultancies.
Carry out any other official duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Master’s degree in Geoinformatics or Geomatics from a recognized institution, with Upper Second Class minimum or overall Grade B+ for unclassified degrees.
~1 year relevant research exposure preferred.
Proficiency in GIS/remote sensing tools and data analysis; strong documentation and writing skills.
Organized, detail-oriented; able to work independently and in teams; strong communication skills; commitment to research ethics.
