Job Description
Working under Senior Researchers, the Research Assistant II will assist with field data collection (botanical surveys/sampling), computer data entry, cleaning and basic analysis; compile relevant literature; prepare and submit technical reports; draft manuscripts for supervisor review; contribute to research progress reports and specific study work plans; help plan project activities; support preparation of fundable proposals/consultancies; train and supervise technicians; and perform other assigned duties in alignment with project timelines, institute standards and research ethics.

How to Apply
Assist with field data collection, data entry/cleaning, basic analysis, and literature searches.
Prepare and submit technical reports to supervisors.
Draft manuscripts for supervisor review.
Train and supervise technicians involved in study activities.
Contribute to research progress reports per approved work plans.
Assist in planning specific research projects and preparing proposals/consultancies.
Perform any other official duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Botany from a recognized institution with Upper Second Class minimum or overall Grade B+ (for unclassified degrees).
~12 months’ relevant research exposure preferred.
Proficient in data entry/management and basic analysis; strong documentation and scientific writing skills.
Organized, detail-oriented; able to work collaboratively and under supervision.
Good communication skills; commitment to research ethics and timelines.
