Job Description
The Relationship Manager – SME will market the Bank's products and manage SME customer relationships through proactive and consultative approaches, with the aim of acquiring profitable new business, retaining existing relationships, and maintaining high quality portfolios in line with the Bank's mission and vision.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Acquire profitable new SME clients to achieve defined sales targets in liabilities and assets.
- Identify business opportunities within the existing portfolio and grow customer relationships.
- Manage assigned credit portfolios and monitor the quality of existing credit.
- Review, analyse, screen, and confirm documentation submitted by clients before submission for approval.
- Market the Bank's products across all sectors of the Ugandan market.
- Make daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer visits and prepare call reports.
- Maintain a clean portfolio with zero Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).
- Prepare weekly activity reports and submit to the line Manager.
- Review and maintain a comprehensive database of existing relationships and prospects.
