About the Role:
Q-Sourcing is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our client’s growing team. Reporting directly to the Deputy Head of Sales, this field-based position is responsible for managing sales operations within a designated region.
We are looking for a passionate sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and socially impactful business environment—focused on empowering small-scale farmers across Uganda through tech-enabled solutions.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate in setting regional sales KPIs and communicate targets clearly to Sales Team Leads (STLs).
Monitor performance through daily, weekly, and monthly check-ins with STLs to ensure lead conversion and target achievement.
Own and drive regional sales targets, ensuring teams are well-equipped with tools, skills, and product knowledge.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the region, ensure optimal agent distribution, and resolve issues affecting agents and team leads.
Lead joint fieldwork activities, including weekly training sessions and agent recruitment initiatives.
Oversee execution of weekly work plans and performance reviews from STLs.
Identify partnership opportunities and build relationships with local businesses to drive growth in the region.
Ensure compliance with recruitment processes and productivity targets for Sales Agents.
Monitor competitor activity and assess regional business development opportunities.
Represent the business at key industry events and conferences to generate leads.
Ensure all sales activities align with the overall strategy and contribute to KPI achievement.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years in a team leadership role, preferably in a sales-driven organization.
Fluent in local languages relevant to the Western and Northern regions.
Willingness to engage directly with farmers, including door-to-door field sales.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in direct, target-driven sales environments and public presentations.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and motivate sales teams.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a dynamic environment.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to performance excellence.
