Job Description
Direct Sales Representatives (60 Positions)
Location: Uganda – Kampala

Location: Kampala
Job Purpose
The Direct Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the bank’s products and services directly to customers. The role focuses on customer acquisition, relationship building, and achieving assigned sales targets through field marketing, referrals, and community outreach.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential customers to promote and sell the bank’s products (e.g., account openings).
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct field marketing and door-to-door campaigns within assigned areas.
Educate customers on product features, benefits, and terms before sign-up.
Collect and verify all customer documentation in line with KYC and bank policies.
Maintain accurate daily sales and customer records.
Build lasting customer relationships to drive loyalty and referrals.
Report market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Participate in product training sessions, sales meetings, and promotional events.
Uphold the bank’s brand values, image, and compliance standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Accuracy and completeness of submitted applications.
Customer satisfaction and retention.
Compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Timeliness and accuracy of reports.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Banking, or a related field.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in sales or customer service (preferably in the financial sector).
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
Target-driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
Good organizational and reporting abilities.
Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email).
Working Conditions
Field-based role with regular travel within assigned territories.
Involves customer engagement in markets, offices, and public areas.
May require extended working hours to meet sales goals.
Remuneration
Monthly retainer/allowance.
