The Parliamentary Pension Scheme (PPS) was established under the Parliamentary Pensions Act, 2007 as a Contributory Hybrid Cash Balance Retirement Benefit Plan for Members of Parliament and staff of the Parliamentary Commission. The Scheme is overseen by a Board of Trustees, in accordance with the Act.


The Board of Trustees invites applications from qualified Ugandan nationals to fill the following vacant positions:

Vacancies: Procurement Officer

Company: Parliamentary Pension Scheme (PPS)

Grade: PPS 4

Reports to: Manager Human Capital & Administration

Term: Contract

Purpose:
To oversee procurement and disposal processes in compliance with PPDA guidelines.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

  • Full CIPS professional qualification

  • Member of IPPU or similar body

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience

  • Knowledge of PPDA procedures and the EGP system
