Job Description
Career Opportunity: People and Culture Officer

Reports to: Head – Culture Transformation
Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role
DFCU Bank is seeking a passionate and organized People and Culture Officer to support the implementation of culture transformation initiatives across the organization. This role will play a key part in promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture by coordinating and tracking various engagement, communication, recognition, and culture-alignment programs.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Culture Program Implementation
Coordinate and support the rollout of the Bank’s culture transformation strategy.
Organize campaigns, events, and team activities that promote cultural alignment.
Provide logistical and administrative support for culture-related programs.
Employee Engagement & Experience
Support the execution of employee engagement surveys and action planning.
Coordinate initiatives focused on employee well-being, inclusion, and collaboration.
Work with HR and Internal Communications to ensure consistent messaging on values and culture.
Behavioural and Learning Initiatives
Support the integration of behavioral expectations into daily work practices.
Facilitate and organize team workshops and learning sessions to reinforce key behaviors.
Assist in planning and running employee recognition and storytelling initiatives.
Performance Culture
Support implementation of performance management processes aligned with culture goals.
Help communicate and track key performance milestones (e.g., goal setting, reviews).
Promote awareness around performance expectations and manager capability building.
Culture Monitoring & Reporting
Collect and analyze feedback and culture-related data (pulse checks, surveys, etc.).
Prepare reports and presentations tracking progress against cultural goals.
Maintain accurate documentation of culture initiatives and results.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is required.
A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in HR, employee engagement, organizational development, or internal communications.
Experience in culture transformation or change management initiatives is an added advantage.
Key Competencies:
Strong communication, coordination, and facilitation skills
Good understanding of performance management and its link to culture
Analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organized
Creative, collaborative, and people-focused
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems or survey tools is an asset
