Job Description
The Parts Manager will oversee all aspects of the parts department, including procurement, storage, sales, and customer service for brands such as Haval and Chery. The successful candidate will assist customers and service staff with sourcing parts, implement strategies to improve profitability, and contribute to the dealership’s overall business plan. This role also includes supervising, training, and evaluating staff, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards, and staying informed about industry trends and technical advancements. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency, the Parts Manager will play a key role in strengthening the dealership’s operations and market presence.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and storage.
Assist customers and service staff in sourcing correct parts and handling special orders.
Monitor sales, profitability, and expenses, and implement strategies to improve performance.
Compile and execute business action plans while contributing to marketing initiatives.
Supervise, train, and evaluate parts department staff to ensure high performance.
Maintain accurate records and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards.
Stay up to date with product lines, industry trends, and new technical developments.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience with Chinese automotive brands (Haval, Chery preferred) and multi-franchise operations.
Strong automotive background with in-depth knowledge of parts and inventory management.
Results-driven, proactive, and business development-oriented.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to supervise and motivate teams effectively.
