Job Description
The Missing Bills Processor will be responsible for identifying and following up on missing or incomplete billing documents. This position requires the candidate to interact with clients or vendors via phone and email to resolve discrepancies, gather information, and update billing records. The ideal candidate must have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. They must also be flexible with working night shifts and capable of quickly learning various systems and platforms related to invoice management.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Trace and retrieve missing billing documents through phone and email communication
Ensure timely and accurate updating of invoice records in the system
Coordinate with clients and vendors to clarify billing issues or discrepancies
Maintain detailed records of communication and resolved issues
Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare and manage billing data
Support the finance team in achieving accurate and efficient billing processes
Adapt to shifting work schedules including night shifts as required
Learn and navigate various digital platforms and applications used for billing
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business course
Experience:
At least 2 years of work experience in a similar or related role
Familiarity with invoice management or vendor coordination is a plus
Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (functions, formatting)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to learn new software and applications quickly
Coachable and open to training
Flexible to work night shifts
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kitengela, Athi River, or Mlolongo
