Job Description
To manage and develop all available resources (people, process and systems) within the branch to ensure a sustainable and profitable branch income statement and balance sheet as well as entrenching a strong client-focused culture
Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervising and managing branch staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Customer Service: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Setting sales targets and goals for the branch, developing strategies to achieve them, and motivating the team to meet or exceed targets. This may involve promoting products or services, upselling, and cross-selling to increase revenue.
Operational Management: Overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including inventory management, cash handling, banking, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Financial Management: Monitoring branch financial performance, analyzing financial reports, and implementing strategies to improve profitability and reduce costs.
Marketing and Promotion: Implementing marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and increase brand awareness in the local market.
Business Development: Identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion within the branch's market area, developing relationships with local businesses and organizations, and exploring new avenues for revenue generation.
Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks associated with branch operations, such as security risks, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
Reporting and Analysis: Generating reports on branch performance, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and presenting findings to senior management.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the branch's operations, including employment laws, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
Communication: Maintaining open and effective communication with branch staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Implementing CRM systems or processes to track customer interactions, gather feedback, and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
Problem Solving: Addressing any issues or challenges that arise within the branch, including staffing issues, customer complaints, operational inefficiencies, or other obstacles to success.
Community Engagement: Engaging with the local community through participation in events, sponsorships, or charitable activities to enhance the branch's reputation and build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
