Job Description
The Logistics Clerk – Menu plays a central role in the inflight catering operations by overseeing the accurate preparation and timely updating of meal menus. This position involves close coordination with the production team to ensure all menu changes are well implemented, proper communication with clients, and maintaining compliance with company regulations. The role also includes data tracking, assisting in resolving meal-related issues, supporting production operations, and preparing feedback reports on menus and meal service.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and process meal menus in coordination with production teams.
Maintain accurate records of menu cycles and updates.
Inspect and review all menu changes for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate regularly with clients on the status and updates of menus.
Update menus at designated intervals and according to client requirements.
Assist in resolving issues related to meals and menu discrepancies.
Ensure all menu-related tasks comply with internal policies and industry standards.
Provide production support where needed.
Generate reports based on feedback and performance of menus.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in hospital or institutional catering menu management.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Proficient in using computers and menu management systems.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
