Job Description
The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Avionics will be responsible for assessing aircraft defects, troubleshooting, carrying out scheduled maintenance checks, performing system modifications, and certifying maintenance tasks in line with aviation safety standards. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership in supervising technicians, and adherence to regulatory and company policies. Successful candidates will contribute to the safe, timely, and cost-effective operations of Precision Air’s fleet while ensuring customer satisfaction through optimal performance of aircraft systems and utilities.

Assess defects on aircraft, troubleshoot, rectify, and certify within approval scope for timely release of aircraft.
Carry out scheduled maintenance checks and service bulletins to ensure safe and timely release of aircraft.
Perform inspection, repair, replacement, overhaul, modification, and testing of aircraft components and tools.
Maintain and certify cabin utilities and in-flight entertainment systems.
Identify and requisition required spare parts.
Perform and certify duplicate inspections on safety-critical aircraft and engine systems.
Ensure accurate recording of maintenance tasks for aircraft history and regulatory compliance.
Report incidents/accidents according to company procedures.
Coordinate aircraft towing and movement by communicating with tower and apron control.
Supervise and guide a team of technicians.
Adhere to company safety, health, and environmental policies.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma/Degree in Aeronautical or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent approved apprenticeship.
Valid EASA B2 or ICAO Type II License with ATR 42/72 type ratings.
Dual LWTR plus approval on at least one aircraft type, or approval on two ATA clusters.
At least 3 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance, including 2 years as an approved technician.
Recent hands-on experience on ATR 72/42 with certification records within the past 2 years.
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, TCAA regulations, and human factors in aviation.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Excellent troubleshooting, inspection, and supervisory skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
High integrity, safety consciousness, and ability to work under pressure.
