Job Description
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of the organization’s networks to ensure consistent, secure, and reliable operations. They will help with the setup and configuration of hardware, network monitoring, and implementation of basic security measures. Additionally, they will support troubleshooting processes, document activities, and provide first-line user support. The positions offer a growth opportunity for candidates eager to advance their technical skills in a structured and professional environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring network performance to ensure availability and reliability.
Identify and resolve basic network issues with guidance from senior administrators.
Support installation and configuration of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
Assist in applying security measures, including firewall and antivirus updates.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting logs, and updates.
Provide first-level user support for network-related issues.
Assist with data backup and recovery processes to maintain network integrity.
Collaborate with IT colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient network operations.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education & Experience
Diploma or Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in IT or network support (internship experience acceptable).
Knowledge & Skills
Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
Basic knowledge of network hardware including routers and switches.
Understanding of basic network monitoring tools and software.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
Fluency in English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
Previous experience in the aviation industry is an advantage.
Other Requirements
Tanzanian nationals only.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
