Job Description
The DSE Stocks Traders will be tasked with executing buy and sell orders for stocks, bonds, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange. They will monitor and analyze market movements, identify investment opportunities, and advise clients accordingly. The role also involves maintaining accurate trading records, preparing reports, and building strong relationships with both retail and institutional investors. Successful candidates must hold a DSE Dealers/Trading Certificate and demonstrate strong financial market knowledge.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Execute client buy and sell orders of stocks, bonds, and ETFs on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
Monitor stock market trends and provide timely investment advice to clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date trading records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trade performance reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and institutional investors.
Ensure compliance with DSE regulations and internal trading policies.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) Dealers/Trading Certificate – mandatory.
Experience & Skills
Strong knowledge of stock market operations and investment products.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong decision-making abilities under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal relationship management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
