Job Description

Work with senior BI colleagues and cross-functional teams to build interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations; support data governance and quality; help troubleshoot and optimize BI systems; and translate findings for non-technical stakeholders. Ideal for candidates with 1–2 years’ BI experience looking to grow across SQL, Power BI, ETL/ELT, and data modelling.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying BI dashboards/reports (SQL Server, Power BI).

  • Analyse and interpret datasets; identify trends and provide insights.

  • Support data quality, governance, and metadata management.

  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, Marketing, and Operations; present clear findings.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize BI tools and systems.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Minimum

  • National Senior Certificate; Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or related.

  • 1–2 years in BI or related role.

  • Basics in DBMS, OLAP, ETL/ELT; familiarity with SQL Server & Power BI.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred / Advantageous

  • BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or related.

  • Microsoft certifications (SQL Server / Power BI Data Analyst).

  • Knowledge of Autoline Rev8 & Drive IA; dimensional modelling/data mining; C#; Microsoft Power Platform; Microsoft Azure.
