On behalf of our client in the telecommunications sector, we are seeking skilled and experienced Installation Supervisors to join the team in Uganda.
Position Summary
The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for onboarding, training, and managing the performance of field installers, ensuring efficient handling of installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. This role involves coordinating installation schedules, managing materials and tools, tracking job tickets, and ensuring daily operational targets are met.

How to Apply
Coordinate daily installer schedules with the dispatch team
Manage logistics of materials and tools to support field installations
Ensure all scheduled installations are completed successfully
Track job ticket progress and ensure timely closure
Supervise installer clusters to achieve a minimum of 2 installations per day
Authorize extra materials or payment collection beyond the standard installation package
Ensure all installers are equipped with KYC Kits and necessary toolboxes
Oversee the distribution and reconciliation of devices and accessories from designated stock points
Monitor installer attendance and log daily field activity
Ensure accurate reporting of job completions and daily time sheets
Design route plans (PJP) and conduct daily gate meetings to align field teams
Follow up on unresolved or delayed tickets within 24 hours and escalate as necessary
Sign off on refunds or returns when installations are rejected by customers
Supervise timely and quality execution of all assigned tasks
Lead installer onboarding and training programs
Drive continuous performance evaluation and improvement for all installers

Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in the telecom or ISP sector
Solid knowledge in Fibre Optics, especially GPON, and Microwave installations
Experience installing and maintaining outdoor units and telecom equipment
Proven leadership in managing installation teams and field projects
Desirable Attributes:
Ability to handle multiple installation requests and manage operational complexity
Comfortable working in varied environments (rooftops, basements, etc.)
Hands-on experience with field equipment installation and troubleshooting
Familiarity with customer onboarding processes
Exposure to physically demanding work environments
