Job Description
Goldstar Insurance Company Limited is seeking a skilled and results-driven Internal Loss Analyst to strengthen its Claims team. The role involves independently investigating and analysing Motor, Engineering, and Property claims, conducting extensive field inspections, validating loss quantum and documentation, preparing clear investigation reports,identifying and escalating fraudulent or exaggerated claims and liaising with garages, engineers, surveyors, and loss adjusters.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct independent investigations of Motor, Engineering, and Property claims.
- Carry out detailed field inspections and site visits to assess loss circumstances.
- Validate loss quantum, repair estimates, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely investigation and assessment reports.
- Identify, analyze, and escalate fraudulent, exaggerated, or suspicious claims.
- Liaise with garages, engineers, surveyors, and loss adjusters to verify technical details.
- Support the Claims Team with technical input to ensure correct and prompt claim decisions.
- Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality in all investigations.
