Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cold Rolling Shift In-Charge with strong hands-on expertise in 6-Hi Cold Rolling Mill operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- End-to-end supervision of 6-Hi mill shift operations
- Control of thickness, flatness, crown, and strip profile
- Optimization of rolling force, speed, tension, lubrication & coolant systems
- Roll changing, mill setup, and trial rolling
- Defect analysis & reduction
- (shape defects, edge cracks, chatter, scratches)
- Coordination with maintenance, quality & production planning teams
- KPI-driven performance: productivity, yield, quality & safety
