Job Description
Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Organisation: African Evangelistic Enterprise – Uganda (AEE-U)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: National Coordinator
To be responsible for setting systems to effectively manage HR function, administrative and logistical support in line with organization policy. Position provides timely updates and guidance to management.

How to Apply
Develop, implement, and continuously assess HR strategies, systems, and processes to align with organizational goals.
Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing concerns, grievances, and fostering positive relationships.
Oversee the entire staffing lifecycle, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes.
Support organizational growth by developing, engaging, motivating, and retaining top talent.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Lead and manage an effective performance appraisal system that drives a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee the management of competitive compensation plans and benefits programs.
Design and deliver training materials and performance management initiatives to clarify job roles and responsibilities.
Provide key HR metrics and insights to management for strategic decision-making and organizational planning.
Ensure adherence to all legal requirements across HR functions, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification in HR or a similar field is highly desirable.
HR Certifications: Professional HR certifications, such as SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or CIPD, along with active membership in a recognized Human Resource association, are essential.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within a well-established organization.
HR Systems & Technology: Expertise in managing HR systems and a strong command of computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
HR Competence: Advanced knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures, with a track record of leading HR functions in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
