Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for our HR-related queries from clients and external partners.
Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience juggling various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR business supports our clients while conforming to labor laws.

Organise and maintain personnel records for our clients
Update clients’ databases (e.g. annual leave, record sick or maternity leave)
Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
Revise company policies
Create regular reports and presentations on HR issues
Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organise a job fair event)
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven work experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
BS in Human Resources or relevant field
