Job Description
The role involves conducting surprise checks and branch visits to review compliance in areas such as cash management, cheque books, cards, and ATMs. The manager will coach branch staff on compliance, review operational accounts, and follow up on resolution of outstanding branch operational issues. The position also includes participation in key projects such as core banking system upgrades and new product developments to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

How to Apply
Conduct surprise checks across branches on key operational areas including cash management, cards & pin mailers, cheque books, and banker’s cheques.
Carry out branch visits to monitor operational compliance and provide coaching to staff on compliance issues.
Ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures in daily branch operations.
Ensure branch ATMs are properly reconciled and follow up on reconciliation issues.
Conduct reviews on overdrawn and internal accounts.
Follow up on closure of operational issues affecting branch performance.
Participate in project committees during core banking system upgrades or new product development to ensure operational alignment.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking operations, compliance, or risk management.
Strong understanding of banking operations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to conduct branch reviews and provide compliance coaching.
High integrity and attention to detail.
