Job Description

The Manager will develop and implement integrated digital fundraising campaigns across channels including email, direct mail, social media, website, and paid advertising. They will oversee a team responsible for growing revenue from mass, monthly, and mid-level donor portfolios and work closely with internal departments and external partners. The role includes setting and managing budgets, analyzing campaign performance, spearheading donor engagement strategies, and driving innovation in digital outreach. Additional responsibilities include organizing and overseeing fundraising events, securing partnerships, and promoting Medical Teams International through digital platforms and speaking opportunities. The position requires excellent leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and guide a digital marketing and fundraising team focused on mass, monthly, and mid-level donors

  • Plan and execute cross-channel fundraising and digital marketing campaigns

  • Develop acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies for donor engagement

  • Use data insights to drive testing and optimize campaigns

  • Lead digital efforts to enhance brand visibility and website traffic

  • Identify and manage new digital platforms and evaluate performance through analytics

  • Research and establish new fundraising partnerships, including conferences and digital platforms

  • Lead peer-to-peer and crowd-funding campaigns

  • Provide strategic oversight and budgeting for fundraising events

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and ethical fundraising standards

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field (experience may substitute education).


Experience:

  • At least 6 years in marketing or fundraising.

  • Minimum 3 years managing direct reports and digital marketing programs.

  • Non-profit or fundraising experience preferred.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in digital tools, brand frameworks, and content strategies.

  • Strong writing, editing, and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects.

  • Commitment to organizational values and safeguarding principles.
